The TIARA MAX FLAT frameless sliding and folding glazing system with a low threshold is designed for glazing terraces, verandas, gazebos, and outdoor areas of restaurants and cafes.

The TIARA MAX FLAT frameless glazing system is a derivative of the TIARA MAX system. Its sashes also slide along upper and lower guide profiles and are conveniently stacked on one or both sides of the opening, like a book, perpendicular to the glazing line. Its main difference is the configuration and height (23 mm) of the lower profile. The TIARA MAX FLAT system is suitable for glazing openings that are expected to see frequent foot traffic. This low profile and its rounded shape completely avoid obstructing movement through the open space on a terrace or gazebo.

The TIARA MAX FLAT frameless tilt-and-turn glazing system is designed for glazing openings up to 2,700 mm high. The sashes in this system are quite large, similar to those used in tilt-and-slide patio systems. Glass panels can be up to 800 mm wide, and the use of rubberized rollers allows the sashes to move smoothly and quietly.

 

The system's infill is 10 mm tempered glass. All metal components are made of stainless steel and corrosion-resistant alloys.

 

The system's rollers ensure quiet and smooth movement of the sashes within the opening. The roller housings are made of a durable, elastic material that covers the surfaces of two sealed bearings. All metal parts of the rollers are made of stainless steel alloys. The roller housing itself is monolithic and requires no subsequent adjustments. This is an advantage, as in other similar systems, the housing consists of several prefabricated parts that require adjustments to accommodate seasonal changes in the system's linear dimensions.

In addition to polymer, this system uses durable pins to secure the glass in the sash profiles. These pins prevent the glass from slipping out of the profile's mounting chamber during intense solar heating of the polymer and securely hold the glass in the profile during very strong wind loads and gusts.

 

The sash parking area of ​​the TIARA MAX FLAT frameless sliding glazing system is modular, allowing up to 14 sashes, including the hinged door, to be opened in one direction. This parking area design also allows for maintenance without compromising the integrity of the entire system. When the plates are correctly installed in the parking area, the system requires no additional adjustments for proper operation.

The side profiles of the opening have two rows of rubber seals, which (unlike similar systems) provide enhanced sealing along the sides of the opening. When closed, the rubber seal fits tightly against the glass, protecting the room from rain, snow, dust, and wind.

 

The system allows for glazing openings of various shapes, from L-shaped, U-shaped, to curved ones. The system's sashes can also freely navigate profile turns in these non-standard openings, a distinctive feature of the TIARA MAX FLAT system compared to its turn-and-slide patio-type counterparts.

 

The seals between the sliding sashes are made of a transparent plastic-silicone composite material. They provide protection from rain, wind, snow, dust, and dirt. The pivoting sash also has a plastic-silicone seal, which performs the same function but has a different cross-section to allow the first sash to open.
