The ATRIUM top-hung, fully threshold-free frameless glazing system is designed for glazing openings up to 4,000 mm high. The ATRIUM system's sashes can be up to 1,000 mm wide. The sashes in the ATRIUM system move along a robust overhead track and fold neatly into a dedicated parking area at one end of the opening. The system's roller carriages are made of stainless steel, and the rollers themselves are coated with a flexible coating for quieter operation. Each roller carriage consists of four main rollers that support the sash load and two rollers that act as guides. Each roller carriage can support a weight of 150 kilograms. Each movable sash in the system is suspended on two of these roller carriages.

With the ATRIUM system, even the largest sashes can be moved and parked within the opening with one hand.

In addition to polymer, this system uses durable pins to secure the glass in the sash profiles. These pins prevent the glass from slipping out of the profile's mounting chamber even when exposed to strong solar heat, and they securely hold the glass in the profile even under extreme wind loads and gusts. Thus, thanks to the powerful rollers and pins, sash sizes can be increased compared to similar systems from other manufacturers.

 

With the ATRIUM system, the opening can be closed or opened in a matter of minutes. To do this, simply open the lock, release the sashes from the floor, and slide them to the desired side of the parking area. The sashes are secured in the closed position using bolts built into the lower sash profile.

 

The system's infill is 10mm or 12mm thick safety tempered glass. It can be transparent, opaque, tinted bronze, graphite, or with a pattern or your logo printed on the surface. Laminated glass can also be used for glazed openings in shopping centers, children's playrooms, and other public spaces where security is required.

The system profiles are standard in Antracite Gray, which immediately lends a premium look to the glazed opening. Upon request, the system profiles can be powder-coated in any color from the RAL catalog.

All system components, such as profile end caps, locking bolts, and hardware, are made of stainless steel and impact-resistant plastics.

 

A seal between the floor surface and the lower sash profiles is optional. The choice depends on the environment and the intended use of the partition—exterior or interior. If necessary, two rows of brush seals are installed on the lower profile. Two rows of brush seals are installed by default in the upper part of the opening, between the upper supporting profile and the upper sash profiles.

The seal between the door sash and the side surface of the opening is a side frame profile with a row of rubber seal tightly adjacent to the glass. The seal between the outer sash and the side surface of the opening is a combined profile with two rows of rubber seals. This combination provides maximum protection for the opening along the side verticals from snow, rain, dust, and dirt, as well as from wind. This sealing option makes the ATRIUM system unique compared to other similar top-hung systems with parking.

Transparent silicone-plastic seals, installed on the glass edges, provide protection from snow, rain, dust, dirt, and wind between the sashes. The maximum width of the glazed opening with the ATRIUM system is unlimited. The number of parking zones in the system can be increased to two per premium.

The ATRIUM system allows the opening to be operated without a pivot door. In this case, the first door leaf is part of the sliding accordion and moves with the rest of the glass to the desired side of the opening.

If the opening has a pivot door leaf, a floor-mounted recessed or overhead overhead closer can be installed on it.

 

The ATRIUM top-hung frameless glazing system, with its unique potential for glazing openings up to 4000 mm high and the ability to accommodate wider leaf widths, can be used to create partitions in shopping centers or to decorate the facades of shops, cafes, restaurants, and private home terraces.
