SLIDING SLIM

The simple and convenient SLIDING SLIM frameless glazing system with parallel movement of the sashes is designed for frameless glazing of gazebos, verandas, terraces, pavilions, and restaurant summer verandas, as well as for creating interior glass partitions. The system has a low threshold, just 7 mm high, which completely eliminates the need for a walkway. The system's sashes move independently and are interlocked. When the system opens, the first sash pulls the others along with it.

A significant advantage of this system is that it is bottom-supported, meaning the entire weight of the sashes rests on the floor. This arrangement is often a distinct advantage, as the safe installation of top-hung systems requires robust supporting structures, which are often simply not available (especially in summer gazebos and verandas).

SLIDING SLIM frameless sliding glazing is available with 3 or 5 tracks, with each track containing its own sash. The panes slide on rollers along the bottom profile's tracks, overlapping each other like the panes in a wardrobe, forming a 5-pane stack on one side of the system. This technology allows for 80% of the glazing area to be opened. For long openings, it's advisable to use a 10-pane system, two on each track, sliding on both sides.

The system is equipped with standard flat aluminum handles. Other, custom-made handles of various sizes and designs can be added.

A unique feature of the system is that all the panes are interlocked and move independently. Therefore, by pushing the first pane, you can close the entire system – the panes will extend from the parking space one by one and automatically lock into the desired position. Each panel moves on rollers supported by the lower profile. The lower profile is attached directly to the floor covering (tiles, decking). This creates excellent sliding doors in the center of the system, which can be equipped with either standard locks and handles or any aftermarket options designed for all-glass doors.

The profiles are supplied anodized, with a silky surface, the silver color of natural aluminum. They can be used without painting. They are suitable for buildings and interiors with a contemporary style. In addition to their aesthetic appeal, this approach is highly practical, as anodized profiles are more difficult to scratch than painted ones. The system's profiles can also be powder-coated in any RAL color. Wood-effect painted profiles are also available.

The system's rollers allow for adjustable panel tilt for precise vertical alignment of the glass and a smooth seal between the panes. The design uses only sealed bearings, protected from contact with dirt and moisture. This ensures a very long service life and ensures they won't cause premature failure of the entire system.

The SLIDING SLIM system is equipped with a unique latching system. The latch is mounted in the side frame profile. The main function of the latches is to secure the outer sash so that pulling the opposite sash completely closes the system, stretching the sashes along its entire length.

The SLIDING SLIM frameless sliding system is equipped with aluminum seals with felt between the panes. The felt seal is positioned perpendicular to the glass and ensures a secure seal between the panes. This seal does not spoil the system's appearance and provides excellent protection from precipitation and wind.

The system is suitable for tempered glass of 8 mm and 10 mm thickness. The system allows for sashes up to 3000 mm high and weighing up to 80 kg. The glass can be processed using any modern technology. Engraving, frosting of individual sections of the glass, or raster color photo printing are available. This is especially appreciated by private clients purchasing the system for a café or office. A sliding system with a company logo printed on it will look impressive. Printing also allows for a unique look if the system is used as an interior partition.

The top profile simply secures the glass, preventing it from falling out of the vertical plane. The glass within the top profile moves on rollers, allowing the system to operate quietly and silently. Consequently, the top profile bears no load other than wind force. This eliminates any special requirements for the structural support of the glazed structure. Simply put, the system is suitable for installation in any opening in any building, without the need for additional profiles or mounting brackets.

 FLOPPY PARKING

The FLOPPY PARKING threshold-free suspended frameless glazing system is designed for glazing gazebos, verandas, terraces, glass facades of cafes and restaurants, and for creating interior glass partitions. It allows for the glazed opening to be fully opened. Its fully top-hung design leaves the floor clear, ensuring unobstructed passage. The FLOPPY PARKING system can be configured with various door leaf placement options. This includes standard transverse parking, longitudinal parking, and more complex options.

On the parking side, the first leaf in the system is a hinged leaf. It can be used like a standard all-glass hinged door and can be equipped with various types of handles and locks designed for such doors. This door allows for through-passage through the closed system without the need for sliding doors. This first hinged door must always cover the parking area.

The system has identical upper and lower door profiles. This system does not use recessed lower profiles, which is a strong argument in favor of choosing FLOPPY PARKING. Furthermore, this design significantly simplifies installation of the entire structure. After installation, only the floor-level plastic round bushings, which serve as mating parts for the latch tongues, remain at the bottom.

The system has a dual-circuit brush seal, both at the top and bottom. The system profiles can be powder-coated in any RAL color; wood-grain paint is also available.

All system components are made of corrosion-resistant materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and impact-resistant plastic.

The FLOPPY PARKING system's roller carriages have a complex multi-roller design. All rollers are equipped with high-quality bearings. Their design and quality ensure smooth and quiet operation of the system, with easy movement and minimal effort. This is despite the heavy weight of the leaves.

The FLOPPY PARKING system allows for the use of 10 mm thick glass, with leaf heights up to 3500 mm and weights up to 80 kg. Tempered glass with a polished, rounded edge is used. Tempered glass laminated glass is also available. The glass can be decorated with any images and patterns. Images can be created using partial frosting, as well as full-color photo printing.

The system's upper support profile is a robust, rectangular 5 mm thick section. Additionally, the system includes two types of cast aluminum parts: arrows (right and left) and a 90-degree radius turn. The arrows and turn are used to create parking zones. Furthermore, the angle allows for the creation of systems with turns. If a system with an angle of less than 90 degrees or even a radius is required, turns and radii can be constructed from pre-cut segments of the supporting profile. It is important that the mating angle of adjacent sections be at least 155-160 degrees, otherwise the carriage will not navigate the corner correctly.

The switches have a guide ledge on the inside, along which the carriage passes with its upper two guide rollers as it enters the turn. The carriages on each sliding sash are installed with their guide rollers facing in opposite directions. This allows, for example, the front carriage of a sash to pass through the switch into the branch, while the rear carriage passes the switch without entering it, continuing along the main sash. This allows the system to operate smoothly; there is no need to worry about which roller goes where—they will automatically lock into place.

The FLOPPY PARKING system can be assembled with various sash parking options. Standard transverse parking, longitudinal parking, and more complex options are possible. Not all parking types are feasible; limitations often arise due to the aforementioned algorithm for carriage entry into the switch, where the direction of travel is determined by the initial orientation of the roller carriage. Therefore, complex FLOPPY PARKING systems require careful consideration at the design stage, ideally by creating a preliminary drawing. Our consultants are ready to support our dealers and processors with design calculations.
